Stony Live News

Welcome to the Stony Live 2003 Diary. Over the next few days you can keep track with my exploits and those of the many artists that are taking part in the events. You probably may notice that there is a jump in quality from last year. Well,  I have upgraded my camera and my software and now have the difficult choice of which photographs I DON'T put on the web site. If you have some of your own either email them to me andy@stonylive.org or give me a hard copy and I can scan them in (You will catch me at most events... I'm the guy with the Austin Powers Glasses!) . At the bottom of every page of photographs you will find my miss spelt ramblings of the day. Enjoy!!!

Diary

Stony Live has started and what better way than with the Hole In The Head Gang. These guys have been going for years, mostly in the key of G. But it seems to be doing them some good because you just can't help singing along with them. This time they had special guest Barry Ford, who I haven't seen for many a new moon. Chris Mills demonstrated that he could actually play every instrument in a Bluegrass band by taking Alan Horten's banjo in one of the many bluegrass greats they performed.  There was a good crowd in Vaults Bar and superb singing by all.
